It all began with a desire to work together as a family. As our children grew older we began searching for things we could do on our small acreage, something we would enjoy and also be profitable. I remember the day when we decided to plant a small cutting garden almost 20 years ago because the girls were always wanting to cut ‘my’ flowers. So when we first heard of raising cut flowers it made sense to try it. My husband and I both grew up enjoying farm life and working the soil. We’ve always had a large garden that we all worked in together, but this felt like a totally new venture. It is a lot of sheer hard work but so rewarding to see the beautiful flowers that have come about through it. We love to see the joy our flowers bring to others! Our goal is to supply florists and designers with quality, local flowers. We have a weekly delivery route in Kansas City.
